Published by GigInsanity — Last updated: June 11, 2026

THE SHORT VERSION

Rumble Chat Blocker does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. Everything stays on your device.

WHAT DATA IS STORED

The extension stores only the list of usernames you choose to block or mute, along with timestamps for timed mutes. This data is saved locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage and never leaves your computer.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

This extension makes no network requests of any kind. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no ads, and no third-party services. We have no servers and receive no information about you or your browsing.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

storage — saves your block and mute lists on your device.

alarms — schedules the automatic unmute when a timed mute expires.

rumble.com access — lets the extension add block and mute buttons to Rumble live chat pages. The extension runs only on rumble.com.

DATA DELETION

Removing a user from your block or mute list deletes that entry immediately. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.
