Block Em! ("the app") is a call-blocking app published by Gig Insanity. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: everything happens on your device, and nothing is collected, transmitted, or sold.

Information the app accesses

Contacts. Block Em! reads your device Contacts for one purpose only: so that people saved in your contacts always ring through and are never blocked. This reading happens entirely on your device. Your contacts are never uploaded, transmitted, shared, or stored anywhere outside your phone.

Call screening. Block Em! uses Android's call screening role to decide whether an incoming call should ring or be blocked, based on the area codes and prefixes you choose. This decision is made locally, in real time, on your device. Call content is never recorded, accessed, or transmitted.

Information the app does NOT collect

Block Em! does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party data sharing. The app has no server of its own and does not send your information anywhere.

Where your data lives

Your blocklist (area codes and prefixes), your settings, and your blocked-call log are stored locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Subscriptions and payments

Block Em! offers a paid subscription processed entirely by Google Play Billing. The app never sees or stores your payment details. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Google under Google's own terms and privacy policy.

Children

Block Em! is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
